A brief introduction
I strive to meet every person with openness, warmth, and genuine presence. Together, we create a space to pause, tune in, and listen inwardly. From there, something new can emerge – a deeper and more authentic connection with yourself, your body, and your emotions.
We do not need to know the entire path from the beginning. Sometimes, it is enough to have a safe place to land and someone to walk alongside us for a while. Through support, understanding, and curiosity, the courage to take the next step can gradually grow.
My approach is integrative and emotionally focused. I view each person holistically and, when appropriate, incorporate creative elements and psychophysical methods to support the therapeutic process.
I offer individual psychotherapy (not Kela), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, family therapy, and support during acute life and health crises. I also provide professional supervision and short-term therapy, where we work in a more focused way with specific themes and challenges.
As a couples therapist, I help partners find, strengthen, and maintain emotional connection, curiosity, and closeness in their relationship. By developing a deeper understanding of themselves, their partner, and the patterns within their relationship, couples can create the foundation for building a stronger, safer, and more vibrant relationship together. It is possible to apply for Kela reimbursement for couples therapy.
About me
Some values that are especially important to me are living in alignment with my truth, both with myself and with others, and creating and nurturing a sense of community. Vida was born from a deep longing for connection, belonging, and meaning. I wanted to create a work environment where the spaces are welcoming and beautiful, the atmosphere is open and positive, and the work we do is aligned with our values and personal growth.
I meet people in many different life situations and work particularly with individuals who are experiencing a crisis or a period of transition, such as women in midlife, as well as couples who long for a deeper emotional connection, closeness, and intimacy.
At Vida, I also offer yoga and mindfulness in small groups, as well as workshops and courses. I am also happy to give lectures on various topics related to wellbeing and couple relationships, such as how to strengthen a relationship or how illness and death affect couples and families.
Education
I am a trained psychologist and psychotherapist, with further training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and individuals, as well as EMDR. I have more than 15 years of experience working with couples and families in the municipal sector and specialised healthcare. In recent years, I have supported individuals and families affected by health crises and bereavement.
I am also a mindfulness instructor and am currently studying to become a yoga teacher. Yoga has been an important part of my own life for almost 30 years and has, over the years, become a way for me to cultivate presence, balance and a connection with both my body and myself.
I regularly pursue further professional training and professional supervision. During 2026–2027, I am deepening my knowledge and skills in sensorimotor psychotherapy.
