Psychotherapy
What is psychotherapy?
The aim of psychotherapy is to increase self-awareness, strengthen your personal resources, and help you find new ways to cope with different situations in life. Sessions are confidential, and different psychotherapists may use different methods depending on their therapeutic orientation.
The psychotherapy process begins with an assessment, during which we review your life situation, goals, and the factors affecting your well-being. Therapy is planned individually to meet your specific needs.
Psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences, as well as an opportunity to create lasting changes in your life. The duration of therapy varies depending on your situation and goals. It may consist of only a few sessions or develop into a longer-term psychotherapeutic process.
Who can benefit from psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy may be helpful if you are experiencing:
- anxiety or depression
- stress or burnout
- crises or challenging life situations
- difficulties in relationships
- challenges related to self-esteem
- long-term psychological strain
Therapist-specific fees can be found on each psychotherapist’s profile page and in our booking system. It is possible to receive Kela (Finnish Social Insurance Institution) support for rehabilitative psychotherapy. Please contact our therapists here.
